Bruce Hopkin, Associate Director of IT and Change Transformation hosted the second day of the annual Broster Buchanan Charity Golf Tournament in the historical grounds of Edgbaston Golf Club, Birmingham.

Three four-ball teams took part in the event and the level of golf played was as impressive as the weather on the day. The scorecards came in with a win for Karl and a tie for second place for Chris and Nigel, resulting in three very worthy participants making it through to the final in September. Karl also took home the award for ‘longest drive’ and Mark won the ‘nearest the pin’ contest.

The day raised over £800 for the Lily Mae Foundation. The tournament’s overall charity fund will also be presenting donations to the Addenbrookes Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Papyrus.

The charity fund will be further increased by a silent auction, with a selection of high-end prizes up for grabs. Details are to be announced and this auction is open to all, so if you are interested to find out more please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you to all who attended and also to Edgbaston Golf Club for their hospitality.
