By putting people and communities at the heart of everything that we do, we have a genuine and sustainable commitment to be part of a progressive, positive movement for change – we want to show the world that you can build a successful business that balances profit with purpose.

At Broster Buchanan, we are proud of our social and environmental efforts, and we are motivated to continue to do better by our planet and our people. We’re doing our bit to help towards accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

The way that we work, our business practices and leadership culture reflects our commitment to making our own community and the communities that we touch a better place to be, now and into the future. We value leading with integrity and transparency because doing good work is more than just doing a good job; it’s also doing the right thing.

Committed to progressive change through clear targets and accountability, we are working towards accreditation status with Certified-B Corp, Clear Assured and Programme One, to ensure we are directing our efforts towards proven benefits across all areas of Diversity, CSR and Sustainability. We are also proud to be Disability Confident Committed.

We strive to continue to do business the right way – a force for good through our services and practices.

Environmental Impact

We are dedicated to doing our part to minimise our environmental footprint.  From using high quality refurbished laptops, mobile phones and electronic goods, and ensuring our cloud and video platform enables remote working and virtual meetings where ever possible, to working towards our offices becoming paperless, we are committed to ensuring we continue to find and adopt new ideas to put people and the planet at the heart of everything that we do.

Giving Back & Fundraising

We strongly believe it is our social and moral duty to give back, constantly seeking ways to use our skills and networks to have a positive impact on people’s lives. We often use our professional expertise to support charitable and educational organisations to provide careers advice and work skills development for those in need.

Every team member has their own personal CSR days which are chosen based on individual passions and interests. Committed to fundraising since 2015 for a diverse range of charitable causes close to our hearts, the team are proud to have raised well over £25,000.

Diversity & Belonging

Our guiding mission at Broster Buchanan is to invest in and elevate people, and so we wholly believe in fairness and equality for all.  We value diversity in all our dealings, both as a recruitment partner and as an employer.  Committed to preventing discrimination and promoting equality, diversity and mutual respect through our policies, practices and procedures – we treat everyone with the same attention, courtesy and respect.

Our working group are obsessive about keeping pace and staying informed about new learnings in this space, and each team member at Broster Buchanan is provided with equality and diversity training. Equality and diversity is also applied to our marketing and communication activities. To read our Diversity Policy click here.

Health & Wellbeing

Our business is driven by people and our fascination in who they are – what are their dreams, frustrations, passions and purpose? What can we do to help them succeed in their careers whilst living a better life?

Through our curiosity we have learnt that people want flexibility, autonomy, support, variety and enjoyment in all the right measures.  Living is personal – we listen to and work with our people to help them find their own individual balance and live their best life.
